0 The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued an invitation to all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to actively participate in the “MY Bharat Portal-Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue-National Youth Festival 2025.” This initiative, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Youth Affairs & Sports, is part of a larger effort to engage students in shaping the vision of a developed India, or Viksit Bharat.
The highlight of the festival is the “Viksit Bharat Challenge,” which includes quiz and essay-writing competitions. The selected participants would have the prestigious opportunity to present their ideas and vision for Viksit Bharat directly to the Hon’ble Prime Minister during the national dialogue, scheduled for January 11-12, 2025, in New Delhi.
HEIs have been encouraged to motivate their students to enroll for this event and contribute towards the creation of a forward-thinking and innovative youth movement. The institutions are also encouraged to register as knowledge partners on the MY Bharat Portal in furthering their role in this national mission.
Details regarding registration and guidelines for the challenge are available through the official MY Bharat Portal and the UGC communication. The challenge aims at developing youth leadership and making them active participants in India’s march toward progress and development.
