Cheruthuruthi, Kerala – PR Devadath and Siddharth Punathil, final-year students of the Robotics and Automation Department at Jyothi College of Engineering, have come out with an ingeniously devised homework machine aimed at easing the burden of pen-on-paper writing.

The invention addresses the challenges students face when rushing to complete assignments and to maintain academic records. To bring it into existence, the duo took close to a year to come up with a machine that tells the world of their hard work and out-of-the-box thinking. It can be put through writing with its pen and automatically turn pages, doing away with repetitive writing tasks.

A year ago, in fact, Devadath and Punathil started conceptualizing this machine with the aid of 3D printing technology. Determined to find a practical solution for students overwhelmed by deadlines, they worked on developing this efficient device. This homework machine saves time and also ensures neat and legible writing. Hence, it’s a possible game-changer for students under pressure.

The invention has gained attention in the college and beyond as it is both practical and ingenious. As the young duo finally prepares to graduate from the institution, their creation demonstrates what young engineers can do with creativity and technology when solving everyday problems.
