Meaning & Context:
Homophones can be so confusing, The key to mastering homophones is to, like, really understand what they mean and, like, where they fit into the bigger picture, aka context. They might sound the same, but they don’t mean the same thing, and that’s why context is, like, super important.
For example, “there” and “their.” They sound the same, but one is a direction and the other shows possession. So, if you wanna use the right one, you gotta, like, pay attention to what’s going on in the sentence. It’s not just about, like, memorising rules or whatever.
And here’s a fun fact: learning about homophones can actually help you with your vocab, cuz they’re, like, opposites in a way. Like, “bear” and “bare” sound the same, but one’s an animal and one’s about being naked. So, by studying them together, you can, like, expand your vocab and stuff.
